My son was non-verbal and couldn’t communicate very well but when he started to attend Merryfields, he’s able to point out objects and label them. This is just one example of the progress of my son at Merryfields. My son has attended the school since September he is autistic and the support he gets from the staff is absolutely outstanding the school is amazing I can’t praise the school and staff enough it’s been a blessing for the whole family to see how much he has progressed in such a short space of time; he is non verbal but with the support from staff he is now using a personal communication book. – ASC survey 2024.
The staff have taken the time to get to know my daughter and her needs. As she is non verbal we have discussed methods that work at home for example her eating habits.
